IT Operations Specialist

Rolling Wireless is an international company with 20+ years of experience in developing cellular modems and software for automotive market. We are worldwide the largest 2nd Tier supplier of cellular modems to the automotive industry.

We are looking for an IT Operation Specialist who wants to work in a transparent, efficient, and fast-paced organization and have a tangible impact not only on the company's products but also on its processes.

Position / Assignment Purpose

The position is responsible for supporting IT operations of Rolling Wireless in the Issy-les-Moulineaux office (onsite) and other Rolling Wireless offices mainly in Europe, but limited to, remotely with the following 3 main domains of activity:

  1. Infrastructure (ISPs, Server rooms, Firewall, Switches, AD, UPS…): 45% of activity.
  2. Cyber Security, Vulnerability scan, Patch management, Log management: 45% of activity.
  3. Desktop & user training: 10% of activity.

Key Accountabilities / Statement of Work
  1. Provide on-going support/improvement to the infrastructure (firewall/network, servers, backup, etc.) for offices/server room in Europe
  2. Support IT security operations on Vulnerability scan, Patch management, Log management globally
  3. Managing third-party vendor to deliver solution and provide on-going support/improvement accordingly
  4. Support desktop support for employees in Issy-les-Moulineaux office and Europe territory
    a. Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems
    b. Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items
  5. Support other teams' requests when needed
Required Education

Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Required Experience
  • Experienced with IT security monitoring tools & patch management, and hands on patch deployment & vulnerabilities fixing: Nessus, Elastic Search/FortiSIEM, etc.
  • Previous experience of managing third-party vendors ;
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Good written and spoken English/French skills
  • Familiar with enterprise IT infrastructure solutions, including network, hosting, backup, etc
  • Capable of desktop support for PC/laptop on hardware/software, including Windows, O365, etc.
  • Good communication, and teamwork spirit
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
