Field test support

As part of their product validation process, our Tier 1 customers perform drive tests in various geographical regions to ensure compliance with their standards and routes. Our Field Test service includes drive test support from a Rolling Wireless engineer for an agreed number of working days.

The general test scope includes:

  • GCF, KT, PTCRB certification criteria
  • Network connection 
  • Voice call
  • SMS send/receive
  • Data transmission / throughput
  • Cell handover
  • GPS performance
  • VoLTE (as available)
  • Re-connection

Regression field tests can be supported if a root cause linked to cellular network-related issues has been identified.

Custom CVE reports

Rolling Wireless continuously scans multiple sources for Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) records. When a CVE record impacts software delivered by Rolling Wireless, we proactively analyse, process, and communicate with customers. 

When the customer project is in SOP*: 

  • Every 6 months, Rolling Wireless shares an up-to-date CVE report with all known CVEs affecting the customer’s Release Candidate for SOP 
  • The customer reviews the CVE report and provides feedback within 1 month 
  • The customer can make a Change Request to get an updated software release 

For critical vulnerabilities with a Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) score above 9, we use an emergency process to provide customers with the information they need to quickly perform a risk assessment.
