Rolling Wireless Start of Mass Production at Penang Manufacturing Site

Rolling Wireless, the world’s leading supplier of network access devices (NADs) to the automotive industry, announces that its manufacturing site in Penang, Malaysia, is now fully operational and has commenced volume shipments to global automotive customers. This achievement represents a major industrial milestone and confirms the site’s readiness to support high‑volume production across multiple ongoing vehicle programs.

The Penang facility successfully completed all required customer and automotive‑industry qualification processes, including comprehensive audits, production readiness assessments, and mass‑production approvals, thus validating that Rolling Wireless manufacturing operations meet stringent automotive‑grade standards.

With these qualifications secured, the Penang site has moved into sustained mass production for Rolling Wireless’ 4G and 5G connectivity products. The facility is now actively fulfilling large‑scale production orders from major global OEM programs, further strengthening the company’s manufacturing footprint and supply‑chain resilience.

This industrialization success is the result of close collaboration across Rolling Wireless teams worldwide, including NPI, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. Activities covered extensive risk analysis, validation and verification, production line preparation, and supply chain coordination to ensure compliance with automotive requirements.

Throughout the ramp‑up, Rolling Wireless maintained continuous engagement with its automotive customers to align on quality expectations, technical requirements, and delivery timelines. This partnership‑driven approach ensures a smooth transition into mass production and reinforces the company’s commitment to excellence and reliability.

“Reaching sustained mass production at our Penang site is a remarkable accomplishment fueled by strong teamwork and relentless execution,” said Andreas Kohn, Chief Operating Officer at Rolling Wireless. “Our teams worked with determination to ensure full production readiness, automotive‑grade quality, and compliance with key regulatory requirements such as BIS. This success positions us strongly to support our global customers at scale.”

Rolling Wireless will continue scaling output to support customer program schedules while maintaining established standards of performance, reliability, and compliance for automotive‑grade wireless connectivity solutions.
