Rolling Wireless Achieves Full Technical Acceptance from T-Mobile for RN932V 5G Automotive Module

Milestone enables deployment of advanced connected vehicle services across the U.S.

Rolling Wireless, a leading provider of automotive connectivity solutions, today announced that its RN932V 5G module has successfully achieved Full Technical Acceptance from T-Mobile, the largest 5G network in the United States. This approval marks a significant step forward in the deployment of next-generation connected vehicle technologies.

Certified for use on T-Mobile’s nationwide 5G Advanced network, the RN932V module demonstrated exceptional RF performance, reliable service, and full compatibility with the operator’s latest technologies during extensive lab and field testing. It supports 3GPPP Rel 16- 5G Standalone (SA) architecture and is confirmed ready for emerging capabilities such as Voice over New Radio (VoNR), advanced 5G features like slicing, and NRCA band combinations for high throughput, ensuring long-term alignment with T-Mobile’s network capabilities.

The RN932V is the North American variant of Rolling Wireless’ flagship 5G Release 16 automotive Network Access Device (NAD). Engineered for automotive-grade connectivity, it features a high-performance multicore application processor and an integrated hardware engine for cybersecurity, offering OEMs a scalable and future-proof solution for connected vehicle platforms.

Alongside the RN932V module, Rolling Wireless’ NAD Software Platform delivers a reliable and adaptable software stack that simplifies NAD operations in the field. OEMs benefit from streamlined integration, secure management, and robust logging capabilities that reduce downtime and enhance service quality. The platform provides access to a wide range of physical and logical parameters across cellular, WiFi, and V2X domains. It enables the separation of hardware from software and supports local data handling through edge computing. Together with its update capabilities and extensibility, it is an ideal foundation for implementing Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) functions.

“This milestone reflects our continued commitment to delivering high-performance connectivity solutions that meet the evolving needs of global automotive OEMs,” said Andreas Kohn, COO at Rolling Wireless. “We are proud to collaborate with T-Mobile to enable smarter, safer, and more connected mobility experiences for drivers across the U.S.”

The RN932V module is part of Rolling Wireless’ broader portfolio of 5G solutions tailored for the automotive industry, supporting applications such as over-the-air software updates, real-time diagnostics, and advanced infotainment services.
