Product Owner

Rolling Wireless - the largest automotive modem supplier in the world - is a mid-sized international company with more than 20 years of experience developing modems and software for the automotive market.

In 2022, we opened a new R&D office in Budapest to support the fast-growing 4G/5G automotive modem market. The office is staffed mainly by software developers.

We are looking for professionals who want to work in a transparent, efficient, and fast-paced organization and have a tangible impact not only on the company's products but also on its processes.

Position / Assignment Purpose

You work closely together with our internal stakeholders to define and maintain use cases and product requirements. You will also:

  •  set and balance priorities across in the team, you coordinate and track the process
  •  work together with our architects and team members to provide the necessary input to the development teams
  •  refine the user stories together with the development team and Product Marketing
  •  represent your team in Scrum meetings
  •  report a clear status to the stakeholders
  •  be in charge of defining and enforcing the way of working with the development teams

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or relevant engineering field. Master is a plus.

Required Experience

You have at least 5 years relevant experience as a Product Owner.

Required Skills and Competencies
  • You are a strong communicator with a positive attitude.
  • You strive for consensus.
  • You have a strong interest or a proven track record in subjects like Internet of Things, Automotive, Embedded Linux, V2X or openwrt.
  • You are a team player who is driven to find solutions for technical requirements and specific client enquiries.
  • You are a systematic and logical thinker
  • Excellent verbal and written English communications skills
