IT Operation Specialist

Rolling Wireless is an international company with 20+ years of experience in developing cellular modems and software for automotive market. We are worldwide the largest 2nd Tier supplier of cellular modems to the automotive industry. Working at Rolling Wireless is joining a multicultural team at a high-growth organization.

To support fast-growing business opportunities, we are opening a new R&D site in Budapest, Hungary. The R&D site will consist mostly of software development engineers.

We are looking for a IT Operation Specialist who wants to work in a transparent, efficient, and fast-paced organization and have a tangible impact not only on the company's products but also on its processes.



Position / Assignment Purpose
The IT Operation Specialist is responsible for supporting IT operations (including infrastructure, desktop, Helpdesk, security, user training, etc) of Rolling Wireless in Budapest office onsite and other Rolling Wireless’ offices mainly in Europe (but limited to, remotely). 
Key Accountabilities / Statement of Work
  1. Implement and maintain the backup solution for business critical data in Budapest IT room ;
  2. Network configuration/monitoring in Budapest office；
  3. Desktop support for employees in Budapest office and Europe territory;
    a. Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems;
    b. Install and update company software and hardware as needed;
    c. Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items;
  4. Manage third-party vendor to deliver solution and provide on-going support/improvement on infrastructure/desktop for Budapest office and Europe territory;
  5. IT security monitoring on network, server/laptop, etc. for Europe territory and globally;
  6. Support Quality team on customer request when needed.
Required Education
Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field;
Required Experience
  • Familiar with enterprise IT infrastructure solutions, including network, hosting, backup, etc;
  • Capable of desktop support for PC/laptop on hardware/software, including Windows, O365, etc.;
  • Experience with IT security monitoring tools : Nessus, Elastic Search, etc.;
  • Previous experience of managing third-party vendors ;
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Good written and spoken English skills; French is a plus ;
  • Good communication, and teamwork spirit;
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
