Data Analyst - Data Visualization

Rolling Wireless is an international company with 20+ years of experience in developing cellular modems and software for automotive market. We are worldwide the largest 2nd Tier supplier of cellular modems to the automotive industry.

Working at Rolling Wireless is joining a multicultural team at a high-growth organisation.

We are hiring a Data Analyst, who will be Part of the System Engineering (SE) team. Reporting to the SE VP, the Data Analyst will be responsible for business-oriented data projects with the collection, structuring and valuation of data. She/He will be able to support the business teams in the elaboration, development, and restitution of the various deliverables. She/He will be able to contribute to the analysis of data coming from the various operational systems and to define indicators, up to the construction of tools for analysis and graphic visualization of data.

Position / Assignment Purpose
  • Conduct complex data exploration and analysis
  • Organize, synthesize, and translate information to facilitate decision-making
  • Implement data visualization tools
  • Be the guarantor of the availability, the quality of the data and their consistency
Key Accountabilities / Statement of Work
  • Processing and manipulation of company data
  • Communication with client teams and participation in workshops to express needs
  • Creation of analysis reports and graphical visualizations of data
  • Ensure the realization of the evolutions requested by the users
  • Ensure corrections following the problems raised (bugs)
  • Ensure the collection, quality, storage, and security of data with the IT & Data Department
  • Document procedures to facilitate follow-up of the activity with other team members
  • DataViz: creation of interactive dashboards to monitor the performance of the Rolling Wireless activities
  • Communicate the results of the analyses – “story telling”, share their work and capitalize within the company
Required Education
Graduate of a Bac +5 training in data science or computer science
Required Experience

You have at least 3 years of experience in analytics

Required Skills and Competencies
  • Mastery of the Office Pack (Excel, PowerPoint) essential
  • Knowledge of Data Visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI
  • Programming languages: R, C#, SQL, Jquery, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Java/JEE, Python
  • Knowledge of data storage (Data warehouse, Data mart, Data lake)
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies: GCP, AWS, Azure
  • Fluent in French and English
  • You know how to work in project mode to analyze, design and develop dashboards
  • Motivated for translating business issues into Data processing
  • You are recognized for your interpersonal skills, your strong adaptability, and your team spirit
  • You demonstrate strong abilities to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships, and to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Your synthesis and analysis skills allow you to formalize clear diagnoses and to formulate and challenge solutions adapted to situations with a wide audience, both orally and in writing
  • You demonstrate proactivity, creativity and autonomy

Desired hard skills:

  • Knowledge of development methodologies (object methodologies, "agile", ...)
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services / ETL Talend
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services (OLAP Cubes, Data Mining)
  • Knowledge of Time Series methods and Machine Learning / Deep Learning algorithms and techniques would be a plus
