Customer Program Manager

Rolling Wireless is an international company with 20+ years of experience in developing cellular modems and software for the automotive market. We are worldwide the largest 2nd Tier supplier of cellular modems to the automotive industry.

Working at Rolling Wireless is joining a multicultural team at a high-growth organisation.

We are hiring a Customer Program Manager. She/He will be part of the System Engineering team, reporting to the Director Program Manager. 

Position / Assignment Purpose
  • Meet the revenue objectives set by/agreed upon with the management by leading the customer project development (Specification Support for RFI/RFQ, Development/Execution and Maintenance),
  • Support RWS to increase the knowledge about our customers and prospects and maximize the presence of RWS products in the customers applications.
Key Accountabilities / Statement of Work
1 Customer Project Management (50%):

  • Clarify the projects objectives with customers (SoW after the award),
  • Plan, lead and track project realization and change request from specification, feasibility to mass production and field deployment on customer side by applying adequate standard processes and declination,
  • Animate pro activey and federate project team around csutomer expectations,
  • Synchronize with PLM and PM R&D plus Quality and Sales the actions plan and the communication to customers,
  • Identify and and manage risks related to project,
  • Control project execution through appropriate indicators (Milestones, Tickets status, activity on the project…),
  • Implement relevant steering actions plan with both external (csutomer, subcontractor) and internal interfaces,
  • Regular project report to interface and escalation hierarchy.

2 Business Opportunity Development (30%):

  • Build a positive working relationship with customers to get information on new projects, highlight the RWS advantages and streamline the development phase (RFQ answers, technical workshop…),
  • Identify customer projects with Sales potential and the organization resources/competencies that are required to get design-win,
  • To provide RWS the relevant information about the evolution of customer products/applications and participate to the product specifications,
  • Be part of the RFQ Tiger Team and drive technical communication with customer in collaboration with the system architect.

3 Support Consolidation (20)%:

  • Support questions, issues, requirement reported by customer and monitor them through our database and coordinate regularly with the team members and peers to increase the knowledge database (FA, Lesson learnt, tencial notes…),
  • Comply and contribute to quality improvement policy defined at corporate and direction level. Systematically use projects, actions return of experience to propose and implement, when applicable, continuous improvement plan.

Required Education
Project manager certified
Required Experience
  • Senior technical experience in telecoms, electronics engineering
  • Experience in electronics application development project / program management
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Management skills
  • Skills in complex systems design and quality as well as basic knowledge in manufacturing processes including automotive process
  • Strong customer oriented mindset
  • Language : Fluent English is mandatory, French and German are desirable
  • Automotive technology/process knowledge
