We are hiring a Customer Program Manager. She/He will be part of the System Engineering team, reporting to the Director Program Manager. The position involves being the “technical” reference and point of contact for prospects/customers. She/He participates in the Pre-sales activity, supporting Sales to manage RFI/RFQ project. Position / Assignment Purpose
  • Collaborate closely with regional Sales for biz dev programs,
  • Organize and manage the technical part of RFI/RFQ projects in support of Sales and Marketing,
  • Provide first technical support to customer from Pre-sales, execution to after SOP activities.
Key Accountabilities / Statement of Work
The CPM will handle Business Opportunities and/or Customer Projects in Execution. A percentage is given as an indication of the possible workload and will balance depending on objectives:

1 Business Opportunity Development (30-60%) :

  • With Sales and PMM, identify potential customer projects in your region and the organization resources/competencies that are required to get design-win,
  • Be ready to present the roadmap, manage features demo with internal support, get requirements from customers to share with Marketing,
  • Foster and develop a positive working relationship with technical stakeholders at prospects/customers to get information on new projects, highlight the RWS advantages and streamline the development phase (RFQ answers, technical workshop…),
  • As part of the Tiger Team, organize and manage the technical part of the RFQ project and lead the technical communication with customer in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and R&D,
  • Share all the relevant information to move the project from RFQ to Execution (RFQ answer, Customer expectation, Planning…).


2 Execution Phase (30%-60%) :

  • Be the customer voice within the company and the company’s voice to the customer,
  • Clarify the projects objectives with the customer, manage the SoW and define the way to work with the customer,
  • Plan, lead and track project realization from specification, feasibility to mass production and field deployment on customer side by applying adequate standard processes and declination,
  • Drive troubleshooting, Q&A, change request and service request with the relevant people,
  • Control project execution through appropriate indicators (Milestones, Tickets status, activity on the project…),
  • Pro actively animate and federate project team around customer expectations,
  • Synchronize with Product Marketing, R&D, Quality and Sales the actions plan and the communication to customers,
  • Identify and manage risks related to project,
  • Regular project report to interface and escalation hierarchy.


3 Support Consolidation (10%) :

  • Gathering the voice of customers, capture automotive use cases & trends,
  • Provide Rolling Wireless all relevant information about the application(s) evolution of the prospects/customers (component content, system requirements development, new products requirements, integration strategy, competition, etc),
  • Assist in product trainings, workshops, product demonstration,
  • Comply and contribute to quality improvement policy defined at corporate and direction level. Systematically use projects, actions return of experience to propose and implement, when applicable, continuous improvement plan.

Required Education
  • Engineering degree
  • Project manager certification is a plus
Required Experience
  • 7+ years’ experience in automotive projects (telematics or Infotainment)
  • Experience in project management (transversal management)
  • Experience working with remote teams and in an international environment

  • Embedded Linux (Kernel, Boot, security, integration, Yocto…)
  • Automotive technology/process knowledge
  • Overall view of an embedded Linux system architecture and its advantages and constraints
  • Telecom system: 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G…
  • GNSS, V2X, Wifi/BT
  • Language : Fluent English is mandatory
